OPENING TIP: Tonight's Centennial Conference (CC) game marks the 135th all-time meeting between Gettysburg (13-4, 4-1 CC) and McDaniel (11-6, 1-4 CC) in a series that dates back to 1918. The Bullets lead the all-time series 95-39 and have won 10 of the last 11 meetings. The lone Green Terror win during that stretch was a 55-53 win in Westminster on Nov. 29, 2022.

WHEN LAST WE MET: Gettysburg turned an 11-point first-half deficit into four second-half ties, ultimately edging McDaniel by four points 68-64 on Feb. 14, 2024. Jordan Stafford netted 25 points to lead the Bullets. He also grabbed four rebounds. Akim Joseph was one rebound shy of a double-double, finishing with 11 points and nine boards. Chuck Contee led all scorers with 27 points for the Green Terror. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

LAST TIME OUT: Gettysburg used a 17-5 run that spanned both halves to open up a 16-point lead and then hit 17 of its 25 second-half free throws for a 69-62 win over Swarthmore on Saturday. Carl Schaller led the Bullets with 19 points, including going to the free-throw line 12 times for the second straight game, converting 10 of those attempts. Nate Williams added 18 points. Eddie Paquette led the Garnet with 13 points and seven rebounds. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

NO. 2, BUT NO. 1 IN OUR HEARTS: Carl Schaller has found his scoring groove in 2025. Since DeSales limited the senior to just three points, he is averaging 20.5 points in six January games. He has eclipsed the 20-point mark three times and scored 19 or more in each of the last four games. The last two games, Schaller has done yeoman's work at the free-throw, getting to the stripe 25 times in the two games and connecting on 21 of those tosses (84 percent).

LAST TIME OUT: Trevor Wall hit the second of two free throws with six seconds remaining to give Ursinus a one-point, come-from-behind victory over McDaniel on Saturday, 62-61. Chuck Contee led the way with 13 points, three rebounds, three assists and three steals for the Green Terror . He now has 979 career points as he looks to become the 19th player in program history to score 1,000. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

HIGH-PERCENTAGE LOOKS: On Saturday, Ursinus shot 61.0 percent from the floor against McDaniel. The only other team to shoot better than 60 percent against the Green Terror was Hood, which connected at a 61.5-percent rate in a 86-65 win on Nov. 16. McDaniel actually enters the night with the worst field-goal percentage defense in the conference at 46 percent but just four teams has shot 50 percent or better in a single game. Conference opponents are shooting a collective 51.3 percent in the first five CC games. The Green Terror, however, has also allowed the fewest attempts by its opponents with just 866 tries in 17 games.
