THE LEADERS

Meaghan Dougherty (Heath, Texas/Rockwell-Heath) secured the match with a 6-4, 6-2 win at sixth singles for the Bullets.
FOR THE FOES
• Annie Nemoy won twice to lead the Cardinals. She and Marcela Pena teamed for a 6-2 win at third doubles before Nemoy won first singles in three sets. She took the opening set 7-5 before falling 6-1 and winning the third set, 7-6 (7-3 in tiebreaker).
THE REST OF THE STORY

Gabby Mazzeo (Bethel, Conn./Bethel) and
Arina Zheliaskova (Saint Petersburg, Russia/Gymnasium 540) teamed for a 6-1 win at first doubles. Ella Knox and Meaghan Laniewski secured the doubles point for Catholic with a 7-5 win.
• Zheliaskova added a second win with a 6-3, 6-1 win at second singles while
Emma Ward (Falls Church, Va./George Mason) also had a straight-set win, taking third singles by a 6-1, 6-1 score.
