THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg won one event while Johns Hopkins captured first place in the other 13 events to sweep its first-ever Centennial Conference quad. The 12th-ranked Blue Jays defeated the Bullets 182-78 while Gettysburg defeated Washington (Md.) 201-59 and McDaniel 216-37 to wrap up a 2-1 start to the dual season.
THE LEADERS

Connor Mangan (Pipersville, Pa./Central Bucks West) was the only Blue Jay to not touch first in an event, winning the 200 backstroke for the Bullets with a time of 1:53.34. Mangan also finished second in the 200 butterfly with a time of 1:55.88, which ranks eighth in program history, and was fourth in the 200 IM with a time of 1:57.57.
FOR THE FOES
• Eight different Blue Jays won individual events. Michael Ivanov won both the 50 free and 100 and was part of both winning relays.
THE REST OF THE STORY

Evan Graham (Crofton, Pa./The Key School) touched second in the 100 backstroke with a time of 50.73, just 0.37 seconds behind Johns Hopkins' Dylan Jewett. Graham was also second in the 100 free with a time of 47.13 seconds.

Ben Butterfield (Henrico, Va./St. Christopher's School) was second in the 100 butterfly with a time of 51.99 seconds.
•
Sam Nelson (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area) finished third in the 1000 with a time of 10:08.16. He was also fourth in the 500 free (4:51.69).

Griffin Koester (Purcellville, Va./Woodgrove) was right behind Mangan in the 200 fly, touching third in a time of 1:58.19.

Ethan Keiner (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) placed third in the 50 free with a time of 21.14, just 0.05 seconds behind Ivanov. Keiner then added a third-place showing in the 100 free (47.78).

Ben Campet (Centreville, Va./Westfield) made his debut with a third-place finish in the 200 breaststroke, posting a time of 2:13.25.
•
Toby Winston (Winchester, Va./Sherando) was third in the 100 fly (52.09 seconds) and fourth in the 50 free (21.43).
• Graham and Keiner joined
Jackson Schundler (Charlottesville, Va./Western Albemarle) and
Max McAlister (Powell, Ohio/Olentangy) to finish second in the 200 medley relay, opening the meet with a time of 1:33.96.
