LANCASTER, Pa. – Seven members of the Gettysburg men's soccer team have been named to the All-Centennial Conference (CC) team, released on Wednesday.
Cameron Linnington (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) was named to the first team while
Finn Hoefer (New York, N.Y./Grace Church School) was tabbed to the second team.
Julius Rigo (Coatesville, Pa./Collegium Charter School),
Diallo Cowan (Stratton, Conn./Bunnell),
James Blake (Chester Springs, Pa./Downingtown East),
Liam Hedinger (Charlotte, N.C./Providence Day School) and
Cole McCartney (Voorhees, N.J./St. Joseph's Prep) all claimed honorable mention honors.
Linnington, a freshman midfielder, appeared in all 19 games with seven starts. He was tied for the team lead with six goals and added an assist to rank second on the team with 13 points. He scored a goal in four straight games between Oct. 14 and 25.
Hoefer, a freshman forward, appeared in all 19 games with 11 starts. He was third on the team with five goals and 11 points, adding one assist. He had a three-game scoring streak between Oct. 22 and Nov. 1.
Rigo, a freshman forward, appeared in all 19 games with 12 starts. He was tied for the team lead with six goals and led the team with five assists and 17 points. He debuted with five goals in his first four collegiate games, including tallying twice in a 2-0 win over Neumann on Aug. 30.
Cowan, a freshman forward, appeared in 18 games with eight starts. He was fourth on the team with four goals and 10 points, adding two assists. He scored twice in a 3-2 win over Ursinus on Oct. 18.
Blake, a junior midfielder, started all 14 games in which he appeared. He contributed two goals and two assists on the season.
Hedinger, a sophomore defender, started all 17 games in which he appeared. He took six shots on the season. He was part of a defensive unit that posted a 1.11 goals-against average and had nine shutouts.
McCartney, a senior defender, appeared in all 19 games with nine starts. He scored a goal in a 4-0 win over Southern Virginia on Sept. 13.
The seven selections to the all-conference team are the most for Gettysburg since also having seven in 1999. For all seven in 2025, it was their first selections to the all-conference team.
Senior
Joseph Morales (Potomac, Md./Georgetown Prep) garnered a spot on the All-Sportsmanship Team.
The Bullets finished the season with an overall record of 10-6-3 (4-2-3 CC) and advanced to the CC semifinals.
