THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg reset five program records and recorded no fewer than four NCAA B-Cut times to finish fourth as a team at the 16th Annual Phoenix Fall Classic at Chicago over the weekend. The Bullets scored 1086.5 points.
THE LEADERS
•
Evan Graham (Crofton, Md./The Key School) highlighted the weekend for the Bullets, setting program records in the 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke, 400 IM and as part of the 400 medley relay. His 100 back and 400 IM times were also Centennial Conference records.
•
Connor Mangan (Pipersville, Pa./Central Bucks West) rounded out the record-setting weekend, recording the program's best time in the 200 butterfly.
FOR THE FOES
• NYU won the nine-team invitational with 2697 points, which outdistanced second-place Washington (Mo.) by nearly 800 points.
FRIDAY'S RECAP:
• Friday's session opened for Gettysburg with the No. 7 all-time mark in the 200 free relay.
Toby Winston (Winchester, Va./Sherando),
Evan Graham,
Ethan Keiner (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) and Rudy Rudatskira (Kampala, Uganda/Georgetown Prep [Md.]) combined to post a time of 1:22.08 and place fifth.

John Verosko (Gainesville, Va./Patriot) and
Kellen Booth (Wallingford, Conn./Suffield Academy) advanced to the B-Finals of the 500 free, finishing 19th (4:38.81) and 20th (4:43.19), respectively.
•
Connor Mangan won the B-Final of the 200 IM, finishing less than a half-second off his program record with a time of 1:50.74 to place 11th and knocking 1.20 seconds off his prelims time.
Griffin Koester (Purcellville, Va./Woodgrove) finished 24th (1:55.06) and
Ben Campet (Centreville, Va./Westfield) placed 28th (1:55.97), competing in the C-Finals.
• Keiner was also eighth in the 50 free with a time of 20.83 seconds, which ranks fifth in program history.
Connor Booth (Wallingford, Conn./Suffield Academy) also broke 21 seconds, placing 16th with a time of 20.97 to rank ninth in program history. Winston finished 26th in the C-Finals with a time of 21.22.
• The 400 medley relay finished fourth with a program-record time of 3:19.32. Graham led off the relay, shattering the 100 backstroke program record by 1.14 seconds with a split time of 47.98 seconds. His NCAA B-Cut time is also a Centennial Conference record time.

Ben Butterfield (Henrico, Va./St. Christopher's School) and Keiner joined Graham on the record-setting relay. The B-Relay of Mangan,
Jackson Schundler (Charlottesville, Va./Western Albemarle),
Max McAlister (Powell, Ohio/Olentangy) and Winston competed as the B Relay and placed 10th with a time of 3:21.74, which is sixth in program history.
SATURDAY'S RECAP
•
Evan Graham,
Connor Booth,
Max McAlister and
Ethan Keiner opened Saturday night's session with a third-place finish in the 200 medley relay, turning in a time of 1:29.87 and missing the program record by just 0.17 seconds.
• Graham qualified third in the 400 IM with a NCAA B-Cut, program- and conference-record time of 3:54.02 in the prelims. In the finals, he finished seventh with a time of 3:56.97.
Connor Tiffin (Elkridge, Md./McDonogh School),
Ben Campet and
Reese Velishka (Stamford, Conn./Greenwich Country Day School) were all in the B-Finals, finishing 15th (4:06.85), 19th (4:13.52) and 20th (4:14.90), respectively.
• In the 100 fly,
Ben Butterfield placed 13th with a time of 50.09 seconds, which ranks third in program history. In the same B-Finals,
Griffin Koester posted the No. 4 all-time mark with a time of 50.17 to place 15th.
Max McAlister was 18th (50.42).

Kellen Booth led the way in the 200 free with a 20th-place finish, posting a time of 1:44.22.
•
Jackson Schundler finished eighth in the A-Finals of the 100 breaststroke with a time of 56.35 seconds, which is fourth in program history. Booth was 19th with a time of 57.30.
• Graham wrapped up his second night with a second-place finish in the 100 backstroke, posting a time of 48.29 seconds and posted the top three 100 back times in program history over the two days. Butterfield (17th, 51.76) and
Rudy Rudatsikira (19th, 52.61) competed in the B-Finals.
• The 800 free relay of
Connor Booth,
Toby Winston,
Connor Mangan and
John Verosko finished seven with a time of 6:49.97, which is seventh in program history.
SUNDAY'S RECAP
•
John Verosko and
Sam Nelson finished 10th (16:16.18) and 11th (16:16.57), respectively, in the 1650 free.
•
Evan Graham finished second in the 200 backstroke, easily breaking the program and conference record with an NCAA B-Cut time of 1:45.57.
Connor Mangan, who recorded a time of 1:47.60 in the prelims to just miss resetting his program record at the time with the best time in the prelims, finished seventh with a time of 1:49.64.
Ben Butterfield's time of 1:51.59 in the prelims ranks sixth in program history. He finished 14th in the finals with a time of 1:53.00.

Connor Booth were in the B-Finals of the 100 free, placing 11th (45.74 seconds) and 16th (46.16), respectively.

Ben Campet placed 20th in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:08.94 while
Jackson Schundler was 27th (2:11.45)
• Mangan bested the program record in the 200 fly by 0.36 seconds in the prelims with a time of 1:51.52. He took that record even lower in the finals, finishing seventh with a time of 1:51.11.
Griffin Koester added the No. 5 time in program history, placing 14th with a time of 1:52.90.
Max McAlister finished 20th in the B-Finals with a time of 1:54.63 while
Bailey Steimel was 24th out of the C-Finals with a time of 1:57.31.
• Swimming as exhibition, the 400 free relay of
Ethan Keiner, Booth, Winston and Graham posted a time of 3:01.53 to register the No. 3 time in program history.
