• The teams went back-and-forth to start the game before one Josh Sewordor free throw with 10:11 showing gave Mary Washington a 9-8 edge. The teams still traded baskets until a
Nate Williams (Morganville, N.J./St. John Vianney) triple gave Gettysburg a 21-18 lead with 5:48 on the clock. A Kye Robinson three-point play with 4:43 showing put the visitors in front 23-22 and the Eagles scored the final four points of the half for a 31-26 halftime advantage.

Ray Zamloot (Caldwell, N.J./James Caldwell) 3-pointer closed the deficit to 31-29 on the opening possession of the second half, Mary Washington responded with six in a row to take a 37-29 lead with 16:12 showing. Trialing 40-32, a
Caleb Gillus (Falls Church, Va./Sidwell Friends School [D.C.]) trey started a 9-2 run that trimmed the deficit to one just 81 seconds later. The Eagles, however, came out of a timeout and scored the next eight points to open up a nine-point lead with 8:39 showing and maintained a lead of no fewer than seven points the rest of the way.
