THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg set four program records, hit four NCAA B-Cuts and claimed five gold medals at the 2025 Centennial Conference men's swimming championship hosted by Franklin & Marshall. The Bullets finished as the runners-up with 892 points, which is the most points ever scored by Gettysburg at the championship and the fourth most by any team in the 30 years of the event. It was the most ever scored by a meet runner-up.
THE LEADERS
• Freshman
Evan Graham (Crofton, Md./The Key School) highlighted the huge weekend with three gold medals and two silver medals. Individually, he won the 400 IM and 100 backstroke and finished second in the 200 backstroke to his own teammate. His 400 IM also established a new conference record.
FOR THE FOES
• Swarthmore surged over the final three events to win the team title with 928 points, edging the Bullets by 36 points for the closest championship since 2020 when Franklin & Marshall won by 18.5 points. The Garnet have won the last four titles.

Max McAlister (Powell, Ohio/Olentangy) and
Ethan Keiner (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) opened the first session with a silver medal in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:30.61, which ranks third in program history.
Connor Mangan (Pipersville, Md./Central Bucks West),
Trey Mitchell (Rehoboth Beach, Del./Sussex Academy),
Edward Kim (Weston, Conn./Weston) and
Rudy Rudatsikira (Kampala, Uganda/Georgetown Prep [Md.]) were runner-up in the B-Final with a time of 1:32.27, which is seventh all-time.
• Mangan, Kim, Graham,
Connor Booth (Wallingford, Conn./Suffield Academy) combined to capture gold in the 800 free relay, earning the Bullets' first win in the even in a decade. The group's time of 6:43.47, which ranks second in program history. Mangan led off with a time of 1:40.53 for the first leg, which ranks fifth all-time on the program's 200 free list. Graham made the big move for Gettysburg, splitting a time of 1:39.88 to give Booth a two-second lead when he jumped in the pool for the final 200.
John Verosko (Gainesville, Va./Patriot),
Harry Nelson (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area),
Joe Curry (Philipsburg, N.J./Philipsburg) and
Connor Tiffin (Elkridge, Md./McDonogh School) won the B-Final with a time of 6:51.28.
FRIDAY RECAP:

Sam Nelson (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area) opened Friday night with a silver medal in the 500 free, posting the No. 3 time in program history with a mark of 4:33.11. He qualified fourth in the morning session with a time of 4:36.62.
John Verosko and
Harry Nelson added fourth- and fifth-place finishes, respectively, in the event. Verosko posted a time of 4:35.75 to finish fourth while Nelson turned in a mark of 4:38.00 to place fifth. In the B-Finals,
Charter Sasseville (North Yarmouth, Maine/Greely) finished in the runner-up spot and 10th overall with a time of 4:42.91.
Joe Curry was 13th overall with a time of 4:47.54.

Connor Mangan broke a 10-year-old program record in the 200 IM prelims with a time of 1:50.90 to enter the finals as the top seed before being edged by 0.19 seconds at the wall but bettering his own program record with a time of 1:50.30 and just missing the B-Cut time.
Edward Kim just missed the medal stand, finishing fourth with a time of 1:52.30 and posting the No. 6 time in program history.
Connor Tiffin was right behind his teammate in fifth place with a time of 1:52.75, which is seventh in program history.
Mason Dillon finished seventh with a time of 1:53.89.
Griffin Koester (Purcellville, Va./Woodgrove) won the B-Final with a time of 1:53.68, knocking nearly a second off his prelim time.
Jackson Schundler (Charlottesville, Va./Western Albemarle) placed 14th with a time of 1:58.32.

Ethan Keiner took home the bronze medal in the 50 free with a time of 20.89 seconds after qualifying sixth with a time of 21.00. His mark in the A-Final ranks seventh in program history.
Lorenzo Zullo finished eighth in the A-Final with a time of 21.26.
Connor Booth won the B-Final with a time of 21.03 seconds, which is 10th in program history.

Max McAlister and Keiner closed out the second day with the third silver f the session, posting a time of 3:21.27 in the A-Final of the 400 medley relay. The B-Final group of Graham, Zullo, Koester and Booth won the B-Final with a better time, clocking a mark of 3:21.21. The times rank third and fourth in program history.

Evan Graham posted a championship record time of 4:00.06 in the prelims to be the top seed in the 400 IM and turned that in a gold medal at night. The freshman flew to a NCAA B-Cut, championship, conference and program-record time of 3:56.26 to win the event.
Connor Tiffin added a bronze with a time of 4:00.90 for the No. 2 time in program history.
Mason Dillon was fifth with a time of 4:05.35.
• McAlister took silver in the 100 fly with a program-record time of 49.23, bettering his own mark from the championship meet two years ago by 0.09 seconds. Koester won the B-Final with a time of 50.54, which ranks fourth in program history.
Trey Mitchell placed seventh in a time of 50.90 for the No. 7 mark in program history. Rudatsikira finished 16th (51.82).
• Booth grabbed the bronze in the 200 free with a time of 1:41.58. Keiner, who was third in the prelims with a time of 1:40.86 (10th in program history), placed fifth with a finals time of 1:41.71. Mangan posted the exact same finals time as his teammate to force a tie for fifth.
John Verosko placed 11th (1:43.09) and
Joe Curry was 13th (1:44.32) in the B-Finals.
• Zullo brought home silver in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 56.34 seconds, which ranks third in program history. Mitchell placed fourth (56.91) while
Jackson Schundler was fifth (56.96). Schundler's time is fifth in program history.
• The top seed entering the finals, Graham nabbed his second gold of the evening in the 100 backstroke with an NCAA B-Cut time of 49.22 seconds. The time improved his No. 2 all-time mark from earlier in the day by 0.33 seconds. Kim was seventh (51.41) and Rudatsikira placed eighth (51.80).
Harry Nelson won the B-Final with a time of 51.15 while McAlister placed 14th (52.80).
SUNDAY RECAP:

Harry Nelson and
Sam Nelson kicked off the final session the right way, going 1-2 in the 1650 free. Harry turned in a gold-medal performance with a time of 15:54.85, which ranks fourth in program history. He split the No. 4 1,000 free time on the way there with a mark of 9:38.04. Sam was just behind his older brother with a time of 15:56.66 to earn silver.
John Verosko placed fifth with a time of 16:13.53.
Charter Sasseville was ninth (16:50.42) while
Joe Curry placed 15th (17:07.75).

Connor Mangan and
Evan Graham kept it going in the 200 backstroke with another gold-silver finish for Gettysburg, both swimming NCAA B-Cut times. Mangan posted a conference- and program-record time of 1:47.15 while Graham had the No. 2 time in program history with a time of 1:47.68.
Connor Tiffin placed fifth with a time of 1:51.23, which ranks fifth in program history. Sasseville came back to place eighth with a time of 1:56.09 after his time of 1:52.82 in the prelims was 10th in program history.

Lorenzo Zullo grabbed bronze in the 100 free with a time of 45.51, which ranks seventh in program history.
Ethan Keiner was right behind him in fourth place, posting the No. 9 time in program history with a mark of 45.59.
Connor Booth won the B-Final with a time of 46.19 seconds while
Rudy Rudatsikira was 14th with a time of 47.05.

Mason Dillon took home silver in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:03.65 while
Trey Mitchell added a fourth-place showing with a mark of 2:04.98.
Jackson Schundler was sixth with the No. 6 time in program history. (2:06.38).

Griffin Koester placed fifth in the 200 fly with a time of 1:53.44, which is fourth in program history.
Max McAlister placed seventh with a time of 1:53.98.

Edward Kim took the bronze in the 400 free relay, closing the night with a time of 3:02.36 to rank fifth in program history. Graham, Verosko, Mangan and Rudatsikira won the B-Final with a time of 3:06.68.
