GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Three members of the Gettysburg men's swimming team were named to the Division III Academic All-District men's swimming team, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC) recently.

Academic All-District honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on Apr. 23.

The following Bullets men's swimmers were honored as part of the program:

• Senior Joe Curry (Phillipsburg, N.J./Phillipsburg), a business, organizations and management major
• Sophomore Rudy Rudatsikira (Kampala, Uganda/Georgetown Prep [Md.]), a biochemistry and molecular biology major
• Sophomore Jackson Schundler (Charlottesville, Va./Western Albemarle), a business, organizations and management major

All three are earning the honor for the first time.

To be nominated for the Academic All-America program, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore with a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade-point average and be a starter or significant reserve. Up to four eligible student-athletes per institution can be selected to the all-district team.
