THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg, ranked 11th in the latest USILA Div. III coaches' poll, outscored No. 19 Stevenson 9-3 after halftime to turn a three-goal edge into a 15-6 road victory.
THE LEADERS

Charlie Johnson (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) led the Bullets with a career-high seven goals and also added an assist. He also had five ground balls.
FOR THE FOES
• Max Racich was the only Mustang with multiple tallies, finding the back of the net twice.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Hunter Bryant staked Stevenson to a 1-0 lead with a one-timer just 1:22 into the game before Gettysburg responded with three straight to end the first period.
Patrick Maroney (Hingham, Mass./Boston College H.S.) tied the game with 8:47 showing.
Jack Dunleavy (New Providence, R.I./Seton Hall Prep) then fed twice in a 41-second span. He hit
Charlie Johnson with 4:37 on the clock before finding
Jackson Barroll (Annapolis, Md./Severn School) for a man-up tally and a 3-1 lead after one quarter.
• Darrell Curtis scored with 11:15 to play in the second before Gavin Gossen got the equalizer four minutes later. Owen McAlister (Charlotte, N.C./Charlotte Catholic) tallied his first in transition to put the visitors back in front 4-3 with 6:02 showing. Johnson added two more markers in the final 83 seconds to cap a three-goal run to intermission that made it 6-3.
• After
Jackson Hearn (Houston, Texas/Episcopal Bellaire) found Barroll for the freshman's second just 48 seconds into the third quarter, Max Racich responded for the Mustangs just over four minutes later. Two more Johnson goals 48 seconds apart started another four-goal Gettysburg run to take control of the game with 5:02 to play in the third.
Matt Maciolek (Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan) and Johnson found the back of the net 62 seconds apart at the end of the run. Racich and Hearn capped the third-quarter scoring to make it 12-5 entering the final 15 minutes.
• Johnson grabbed his first helper of the day, finding Hearn with 12:44 to play before Searing and Johnson exchanged markers for a 14-6 game with 9:05 remaining.

Cisco Celotto (Westport, Conn./Staples) won 10 of 15 faceoffs for Gettysburg with four ground balls.
