THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg scored 59 points to place sixth at the 2025 Indoor Centennial Conference Championship hosted by Franklin & Marshall.
THE LEADERS
- Tyler Trout (Chester Springs, Pa., Owen J. Roberts) led the Bullets earning gold in the 60-meter hurdles finals placing first with a season-best time of 8.72 seconds. This season-best time ranks third in program history. He qualified with a time of 8.76 seconds placing third.
- Liam O'Meara (Ridgewood, N.J., Ridgewood) earned himself a silver medal in the pole vault with a season-best height of 4.50 meters; matching the program record. He also placed 21st in the 200 with a season-best time of 24.18 seconds.
- Jack Regentin (Gettysburg, Pa., Biglerville) finished with the bronze in the shot put with a season-best throw of 14.94 meters. He also finished fourth in the weight throw with a toss of 15.07 meters.
- Trey Hunter (Reinholds, Pa., Cocalico) placed fifth in the 60 meter prelims with a time of 7.05 seconds qualifying for the finals and setting a new program record besting his previous time by seven hundredths of a second. He finished sixth in the finals with a time of 7.11 seconds. Hunter also finished 17th in the 200 with a season-best time of 23.78 seconds.
FOR THE FOES
- Johns Hopkins won the title with 175 points, Ursinus finished second with 132, and Dickinson followed in third with 105 points.
THE REST OF THE STORY
- Mark Overlander (Marietta, Pa., Donegal) finished fourth in the pole vault with a season-best vault of 4.40 meters.
- Gianluca LeBlanc (Pipersville, Pa., Palisades), Hunter, Trout, and Andres Nunez-Castaneda (Morrisville, Pa., Notre Dame) finished fifth in the 4x200 relay with a season-best time of 1:32.89.
- Reid Norton (Alexandria, Va., Gonzaga College) placed fifth in the heptathlon with 3,391 points. He set season-bests and placed third in the long jump (5.66m), pole vault (2.95m), and shot put (10.05m) during the seven-event multi.
- Mick Lorenger (Alexandria, Va., Thomas Edison), Kyle Northrup (New Hope, Pa., New Hope-Solebury), Jayden Craig (Westminster, Md., Westminster), and David Magill (Mamaroneck, N.Y., Rye)came in sixth in the distance medley relay with a season-best time of 10:48.27.
- Andres Nunez-Castaneda (Morrisville, Pa., Notre Dame) finished seventh in the 400 with a season-best time of 51.22 seconds which ranks sixth in program history.
- Trout, Leblanc, Northrup, and Nunez-Castaneda also finished seventh in the 4x400 relay with a season-best time of 3:29.55. While Lorenger, Craig, Isaac Parks-Gill (Lewistown, Pa., Mifflin County), and Magill placed seventh in the 4x800 relay with a season-best time of 8:19.23.
- Stefano Orlando (Norwalk, Conn., New Canaan) came in seventh in the heptathlon with personal-best 3,149 points. Placing fourth in the 60 meters with a season-best time of 7.45 seconds and fifth in both the 60-meter hurdles (10.06 seconds) and the shot put (9.97m) among his performances in the event.
- Maddon McNicholas (Morgantown, Pa., Twin Valley) competed in both the 5,000 and 3,000 finishing 16th and 19th respectively. His 5,000 time of 15:38.45 is not only a season-best but is also sixth in program history.
- Gianluca LeBlanc (Pipersville, Pa., Palisades) came in 15th in the 200 with a season-best time of 23.56 seconds. He also placed 22nd in the 60 meter prelims with a time of 7.36 seconds however, he did not start in the finals.
- Andrew Oshetski (Freeport, Maine, Freeport) finished 16th in the shot put with a season-best throw of 11.93 meters.
- Dominic DiLuzio (Chadds Ford, Pa., Garnet Valley) competed in the 5,000 finishing 24th with a season-best time of 16:12.63.
THE INSIDE STORY
- Eli Steel (York, Pa., York Country Day School) placed eighth in the triple jump with a leap of 13.19 meters. He also came in 13th in the long jump with a distance of 6.00 meters.
- Robby Allen (Sparta, N.J., ) finished 10th in the high jump with a leap of 1.70 meters.
- David Magill (Mamaroneck, N.Y., Rye) finished the mile with a time of 4:32.74 placing 16th.
- Joaquin Lalama (Quito, Pichincha, Ecuador, Colegio Americano de Quito) placed 16th in the high jump with a distance of 1.65 meters.
- Mick Lorenger (Alexandria, Va., Thomas Edison) came in 20th in the mile with a time of 4:35.96. While Jayden Craig (Westminster, Md., Westminster) finished 23rd in the same event with a time of 4:38.06.
- Colin Carpenter (Ridgefield, Conn., Wooster School) finished the 5,000 in 28th with a time of 16:55.52.
