THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg, ranked seventh in the latest USILA Div. III coaches' poll, scored four of the last six goals, including less than in minute into overtime to rally for a 10-9 victory at Muhlenberg.
THE LEADERS

Jackson Barroll (Annapolis, Md./Severn School) recorded three goals and an assist to lead the Bullets.
FOR THE FOES
• Chase Kusko led the Mules with two goals and three assists.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Brendan Boyd finished a solo run for his first goal of the season, staking Muhlenberg to a 1-0 lead just 22 seconds into the contest. Charlie Falk scored with 6:02 of to play and Ryan Schmitz gave the hosts a 3-0 lead just 2:15 later.
Jackson Barroll finished a pass from
Jack Dunleavy (New Providence, N.J./Seton Hall Prep) to get Gettysburg on the board with 62 seconds remaining in the first quarter.
• Ryan Neal added a goal to his first-quarter assist, finding the back of the net with 9:06 to play to push the lead back to three.
Charlie Johnson (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) responded just 1:18 later for the only other tally of the second quarter, making it a 4-2 game at the break.
• Falk netted his second of the day with 10:55 showing before
Vincent Ferrara (Sparta Twp., N.J./Delbarton School) hit Johnson, who finished top shelf to cut the deficit back to two with 9:00 on the clock.
Ethan Kessler (Ridgefield, Conn./Millbrook School) netted an unassisted tally with 7:26 showing to make it a one-goal game. Jack Bill pushed the lead back to two with 4:34 remaining in the quarter but Kessler needed just 46 seconds to respond off a feed from Johnson. Barroll then found Dunleavy to get the equalizer in the final 12 seconds of the period.
• Chase Kusko put the Mules back in front with 13:15 showing but back-to-back tallies from Barroll just 2:14 apart gave the Bullets their first lead of the game with 10:28 to play. Tyler Kitchen drew the hosts back even less than a minute later and Kusko converted a man-up opportunity for a 9-8 lead with 6:51 to play. Kessler scored on a laser from distance to make it 9-all with 5:53 to play.
• Just 49 seconds into the extra session,
Patrick Maroney (Hingham, Mass./Boston College H.S.) took a pass from Johnson and fired from distance just inside the right pipe for the game-winner.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Gettysburg finished with a 50-23 advantage in shots – the second straight game with 50-plus shots for the Bullets to start conference play. The Orange and Blue also had a 35-18 advantage in ground balls.
