THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg posted the low round of the tournament in the second round to overcome a four-shot deficit and win the McDaniel Spring Invitational by nine strokes. The Bullets posted a round of 308 on Saturday before carding a round of 293 on Sunday to finish with a 36-hole total of 601.
THE LEADERS
•
Daniel Suter (Gaithersburg, Md./Milton Academy) won his fourth event of the season with matching rounds of 73 on the weekend for a two-over par 146.
FOR THE FOES
• Franklin & Marshall fired the only other sub-300 round on the weekend, carding a round of 296 on Sunday to vault two spots to second place with a two-day total of 610.
THE REST OF THE STORY
•
Christian Deussing (Doylestown, Pa./Hun School of Princeton [N.J.]) finished second, one stroke behind his teammate. He posted a round of 74 on Saturday before matching Suter with a round of 73 on Sunday.

Myles Cunningham (Winnetka, Ill./New Trier) tied for 10th overall with a score of 152. He fired an even-par 72 on Sunday after an opening-round score of 80.

Daniel Casanta (Southbury, Conn./Pomperaug) placed 20th with a score of 156. He registered a round of 81 on Saturday before posting a second-round score of 75.
•
Nick Conti (Westfield, N.J./Westfield) was 69th in the field with a total of 167 (85-82).

Patrick Kilcoyne (Belmont, Mass./Belmont), playing as an individual, capped off a four-under par second round with an eagle on 18 to post a round of 68 and finish fourth overall. Kilcoyne opened his weekend with a score of 81 to finish with a 36-hole total of 149.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Sunday's round of 293 matched Gettysburg lowest round ever as a team at The Bridges.
Patrick Kilcoyne's round of 68 is the best individual round by a Bullet golfer on the course.
• It is the third time Gettysburg has won the McDaniel Spring Invitational, which serves as the backup tournament if the Centennial Conference Championship cannot be played at the end of April.
• It also marks the fourth team tournament title in eight events this season and sixth time the Bullets have finished first or second.
