Three Gettysburg players named to All-CC women’s basketball team

LANCASTER, Pa. – Three members of the Gettysburg women's basketball team have been named to the All-Centennial Conference (CC) team, released on Wednesday.

Shinya Lee (Rochester, N.Y./Holderness Prep School) was named Defensive Player of the Year in addition to earning a spot on the first team Alayna Arnolie (Vienna, Va./James Madison) joined her on the first team while AB Holsinger (Charlottesville, Va./Langley) was tabbed honorable mention.

Lee, a senior forward, earns her first all-conference honor and becomes the first Bullets to earned the Defensive Player of the Year honor. Starting all 27 games, she leads the conference with 78 blocked shots. She is also second on the team with 39 steals. Lee is nearly averaging a double-double at 10.1 points per game and 9.8 rebounds per game. She also has 21 assists and is shooting 52.2 percent from the floor. She has seven double-doubles this season.

Arnolie, a junior guard, earned her third straight all-conference honor and second straight first-team honor after being tabbed second team as a freshman in 2023. She was Rookie of the Year in 2023 and Player of the Year in 2024. Starting all 27 games this season, she leads the team in scoring at 15.6 points per game. She also has a team-high 48 She also has a team-best 69 steals and has dished out 63 assists. She is shooting 39.4 percent from the floor and has added 3.5 rebounds per game. She has scored in double figures 24 times this season and 20 or more times in four games.

Holsinger, a junior guard, earned her first all-conference honor. Starting all 27 games, she is third on the team in scoring at 7.3 points per game. She leads the team with 90 assists while nabbing 35 steals. She is shooting 45.9 percent from the floor and is third on the team with 24 3-pointers.

Emily Violante (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) garnered a spot on the All-Sportsmanship Team.

The Bullets (25-2, 14-1 CC) won the CC title for the fourth straight season and will open the NCAA tournament with a first-round matchup at home against Stevens on Friday. Game time is 7 p.m.
