LANCASTER, Pa. –
Kimberly Hopkins (Baldwin, N.Y./Sacred Heart Academy), a senior on the the Gettysburg women's basketball team, has been named to the All-Centennial Conference (CC) team, released on Wednesday.
Hopkins, a guard, earned a spot on the second team and is making her first appearance on the all-conference team. Starting all 27 games, she is leading the team in scoring at 9.0 points per game. She is also pulling down 4.1 rebounds per game while handing out 39 assists to go with 20 steals and 14 blocked shots. She has scored in double figures a team-high 14 times.
Reagan Chrencik (New Hope, Pa./New Hope-Solebury) garnered a spot on the All-Sportsmanship Team.
The Bullets (21-6, 12-2 CC) won the CC title for the fifth straight season and will open the NCAA tournament with a first-round matchup against Christopher Newport at Washington and Lee on Friday. Game time is 5:30 p.m.
