Gettysburg scored runs in four straight innings for a 7-0 win over Waynesburg in the opening game of the team's trip to the Florida Coast Spring Training trip.
THE LEADERS

Alex Wilkie-Viscio (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) went the distance on the mound for his first collegiate shutout, tossing the four-hit complete game. He struck out seven along the way with no walks.
FOR THE FOES
• Alec Engelmore and Connor Hamrick both went 1-for-2 to lead the Yellow Jackets.
THE REST OF THE STORY

Brendan Laqui (Randolph, N.J./Randolph) was hit by a pitch to lead off the bottom of the third inning.
Robert Murphy (Berkeley Heights, N.J./Gov. Livingston) and
Jack Burke (Montclair, N.J./Montclair) then both reached on sacrifice bunt attempts before a one-out
Jack Pistner (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) single to right scored Laqui and Murphy for a 2-0 lead.
• In the fourth, Laqui walked with one out before taking second on a wild pitch, advancing to third on a balk and scoring on a wild pitch for a 3-0 advantage.
• An inning later, Pistner and
Will Stellato (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Warde) drew back-to-back walks to lead off the frame. A flyout moved Pistner to third before a double steal stretched the lead to 4-0.
• Murphy led off the sixth with a double before a Burke walk. A one-out Pistner triple stretched the lead to 6-0 before a Stellato sacrifice fly set the final margin.
THE INSIDE STORY

Jack Pistner (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) led the Bullets with a 4-for-4 day that included two triples and four RBIs. He also scored two runs. He has driven in 12 runs in the last two games.
