THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg, ranked eighth in the latest USILA Div. III coaches' poll, opened up a 4-0 lead midway through the first quarter and scored the game's first 15 goals en route to a 21-3 victory at McDaniel.
THE LEADERS

Jackson Barroll (Annapolis, Md./Severn School) led the Bullets with four goals.

Jack Dunleavy (New Providence, N.J./Seton Hall Prep) contributed five points on three goals and two assists, including the 100th goal of his career in the third quarter.

Jack Dunleavy took a pass from
Stokes Myers (Nashville, Tenn./Montgomery Bell Academy) for a 1-0 lead just 2:17 into the game. A minute later,
Ethan Kessler (Ridgefield, Conn./Millbrook School) found
Patrick Maroney (Hingham, Mass./Boston College H.S.) to double the early lead.
Jackson Barroll found the back of the net for an unassisted tally with 9:33 showing before
Will Hedley (Charlotte, N.C./The Hotchkiss School) scored his fifth of the year off a
Benny Kasoff (Leesburg, Va./Riverside) pass off a McDaniel turnover for the 4-0 lead with 7:27 on the clock. Kessler needed just 67 seconds to stretch the lead to five. A Dunleavy-to-Barroll connection made it 6-0 with 2:14 to play early in a man-up opportunity.
• Kessler converted another man-up tally from Dunleavy just 44 seconds into the second period.
Declan Mack (Wynnewood, Pa./Lower Merion) and Barroll scored a minute apart to make it 9-0 with 12:52 to play. Kessler and
Jackson Alpaugh (Darien, Conn./Westminster School) stretched the lead to 11-0 at the break.
• Alpaugh added his second just over five minutes into the second half before Barroll stretched the advantage to 13. Ryan Smith broke up the shutout for McDaniel with 5:10 to play in the third quarter but two more Dunleavy markers over the next 52 seconds extended the lead to 15-1 after three periods.

Colin Johnston (Northport, N.Y./St. Anthony's) started a run of six new goal scorers over the first 11 minutes of the fourth quarter to make it a 21-1 game.
Luke Barbera (Chatham, N.J./Chatham),
Raffael Katts (Easton, Conn./St. Joseph),
Oliver Duryee (Whitehouse Station, N.J./The Pingry School),
Kevin Gillespie (Mountain Lakes, N.J./Mountain Lakes), and
Henry Grosso (Boston, Mass./Lincoln Sudbury) all found the back of the net – four of them for the first time.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Gettysburg finished with a 58-13 advantage in shots and 36-11 advantage in ground balls.
• The Bullets won 19 of 27 faceoffs, including 9 of 11 from
Tate Kuster (Williamstown, Mass./The Williston Northampton School) and 7 of 9 from Chance Celotto (Westport, Conn./Staples).

Owen McAllister (Charlotte, N.C./Charlotte Catholic) had three caused turnovers and two ground balls.
• In total, 20 different Gettysburg players registered a point in the game.
Ethan Kessler rounded out a trio with a hat trick, scoring three goals to go with one assist.
