THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg, ranked 21st in the latest D3baseball.com poll, had a five-run bottom of the first in game one to set the table for a sweep of Ursinus. The Bullets took the opener 10-0 in seven innings before completing the sweep, 7-1.

THE LEADERS
Alex Wilkie-Viscio (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) tossed a four-hit shutout in game one for the Bullets, striking out six.
Robert Murphy (Berkeley Heights, N.J./Gov. Livingston) led the offense with five hits on the day.

FOR THE FOES
• Jude Gilhool had three hits in the twinbill for the Bears, including two hits in game two.

THE REST OF THE STORY
Jack Pistner (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) tripled to the gap with one out in the bottom of the first before scoring on a Will Stellato (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Warde) sacrifice fly for a 1-0 Gettysburg lead. Jack Amirata (Montclair, N.J./Montclair Kimberley Academy) walked and Dominick Balsamo (Brooklyn, N.Y./Xaverian) was hit by a pitch before Matt Nichols (White Plains, N.Y./Byram Hills) singled to make it 2-0. A Will Roche (Milton, Mass./Boston College H.S.) walk loaded the bases for Brendan Laqui (Randolph, N.J./Randolph), who singled to center for a 4-0 lead. Robert Murphy followed with an RBI single to plate Roche and cap the five-run frame.
• A one-out walk to Laqui in the third and Murphy single put runners at the corners. Pistner walked with two outs to load the bases before Stellato singled home Laqui and Murphy for a 7-0 lead.
• Murphy was hit by a pitch to start the fifth before two errors around a Pistner single loaded the bases with an 8-0 lead. Amirata walked in a run before a Balsamo sacrifice fly made it 10-0.
• In game two, Andrew Richter walked with one out in the top of the first before a single and two wild pitches staked Ursinus to a 1-0 lead.
• Gettysburg responded in the bottom of the second with a Balsamo leadoff double and one-out Roche single to tie it at 1-all.
• With one out in the fifth, Brian Andersen (Chester, N.J./West Morris Mendham) doubled to the gap before scoring on a Murphy single to break the deadlock. A two-out Pistner double scored Murphy for a 3-1 lead.
• Andersen and Murphy led off the seventh with single before a Jack Burke (Montclair, N.J./Montclair) sacrifice moved both runners into scoring position. After an intentional walk to Pistner to load the bases, a Stellato singled home and passed ball made it 5-1. Singles from Adam Hicks (Edgewater, Md./Gilman School) and Nichols set the final margin.
