Gettysburg secured one doubles match and one singles match to pull a point away from Bryn Mawr.
THE LEADERS
- Cara Cavorsi (Reading, Pa., Berks Catholic) led the Bullets winning 6-4, 6-4 at No. 6 singles.
FOR THE FOES
- Claire Emanuel led for the Owls winning in a third set tiebreaker 10-5. Her and Carina Roberts won at third doubles with another tiebreaker 7-3.
THE REST OF THE STORY
- Sarah Guistwite (Carlisle, Pa., Wilson Hill Academy) and Emma Ward (Falls Church, Va., George Mason) won at first singles 6-3.
- Shoshi Dondes (Pikesville, Md., Beth Tfiloh) had seven game wins between both sets before ultimately dropping at No. 4 singles.
- Kate Alianiello (Fairfield, Conn., Fairfield Ludlowe) forced a tiebreaker winning set one 6-3 before dropping the second set 6-0. The Owls snagged the tiebreaking win to win at No. 5 singles.
