Gettysburg, ranked seventh in the latest USILA Div. III coaches' poll, scored three goals in the game's first 8:02 and built a 10-1 second-quarter lead en route to a 16-6 win at Haverford.

Jack Dunleavy found
Patrick Maroney (Hingham, Mass./Boston College H.S.) early in a first-quarter man-up situation for a 1-0 Gettysburg lead before 90 seconds had elapsed.
Charlie Johnson (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) and Dunleavy both finished solo runs for a 3-0 lead with 6:58 on the clock. Colin Hulett broke up the shutout, converting a man-up goal with 5:37 showing. Dunleavy pushed the lead back to three, ripping a long shot from
Owen McAllister (Charlotte, N.C./Charlotte Catholic) immediately after the ensuing faceoff win. Goals from
Will Hedley (Charlotte, N.C./The Hotchkiss School) did it himself right off another faceoff victory before Dunleavy added his third a minute later for a 6-1 lead.
Ethan Kessler (Ridgefield, Conn./Millbrook School) made it 7-1 at the end of the first quarter with an unassisted tally.

Cooper Savoy (Killingsworth, Conn./Notre Dame West Haven) found the back of the net for the first time in his career with 10:05 showing for a 9-1 advantage. After
Vincent Ferrara (Sparta Township, N.J./Delbarton School) made it 10-1, Phillip Passalaqua broke up the run of seven straight Gettysburg tallies but
Jackson Hearn (Houston, Texas/Episcopal Bellaire) had the response to start another four-goal run. Ferrara netted his second and
Luke Barbera (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) capped the first-half scoring for a 13-2 lead.

Jackson Barroll (Annapolis, Md./Severn School) stretched the lead to 14-2 with 11:21 showing in the third quarter before Will Weinstein had the answer with 2:49 to play in the period. Dunleavy capped his six-point day to return the lead to 12 after three quarters.
• Evan Wolpert scored twice and Passalaqua found the back of the net again to make it 15-6 before
Jake McLoy (Hingham, Mass./Thayer Academy) put the cap on the 16-6 game with 2:13 to play.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Gettysburg finished with a 43-29 advantage in shots and won 17 of 25 faceoffs.

Tate Kuster (Williamstown, Mass./The Williston Northampton School) won 11 of 13 faceoffs. He added five ground balls.

Andy Marquet (Berwyn, Pa./Conestoga) led the defense with two caused turnovers and three ground balls.
