LAST TIME OUT: Gettysburg scored seven runs in the first inning of game two after a 3-1 victory in game one to key a sweep of Ursinus with an 11-2 five-inning win on Saturday. NO. 17 WITH A BULLET: Gettysburg remained at 17th in last week's NFCA Div. III coaches' poll. The Bullets debuted at 24th two weeks ago before rising to 21st last week. The No. 17 national ranking is not only the best in program history but it is the highest known ranking for any Centennial Conference softball team.
ON A ROLL: Gettysburg is on a 12-game winning streak since returning north from its Florida trip. Over those 12 games, the Bullets are hitting .348 as a team and outscoring the opposition, 85-30. Paige Forry is 7-0 with two saves in that span and has posted a scant 0.60 ERA with 48 strikeouts and just eight walks in 46 ? innings. Audrey Bergan leads the offense with a .590 average over the last 12 games with 23 hits and eight walks for a .667 on-base percentage.
