INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA has announced the hosts for the quarterfinals and semifinals of the 2025 NCAA Division III men's lacrosse tournament and Gettysburg learned that its road to Gillette Stadium will run through Medford, Mass., next weekend.
Tufts will host one of the two weekend sites on Saturday and Sunday. The two winners advance to the national championship game at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., on Sunday, May 25.
The Bullets (15-4) will take on the top-seeded Jumbos (20-0) in the first quarterfinal on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. Christopher Newport (18-3) and Bowdoin (15-3) meet in the day's second quarterfinal at 7:30 p.m. Saturday's winners will meet in Sunday's semifinal game at 7:30 p.m.
Gettysburg advanced through the opening weekend with a 14-12 win over No. 7 Washington and Lee on Sunday. Tufts defeated St. Lawrence in the third round, 14-8. Christopher Newport was a 22-10 winner over Lynchburg and Bowdoin topped Amherst 16-5 in their respective third-round games.
The Bullets played the Captains at the Mustang Classic on Mar. 14, falling 13-4. Gettysburg has not played Tufts since a 12-7 win over the Jumbos in the second round of the 2007 NCAA tournament in Gettysburg.
Jack Dunleavy (New Providence, N.J./Seton Hall Prep) leads the attack with 71 points on a team-best 35 assists to go with 36 goals.
Jackson Barroll (Annapolis, Md./Severn School) leads the team with 39 goals while ranking second with 48 points.
Andy Marquet (Berwyn, Pa./Conestoga) leads the defense with 25 caused turnovers and has added 49 ground balls.
Will Hedley (Charlotte, N.C./The Hotchkiss School) has a team-best 61 ground balls and has 26 caused turnovers. He has also contributed eight goals and six assists. Frank Barbara (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) has 19 caused turnovers and 49 ground balls.
Murphy Hoey (Fairfield, Conn./Berkshire School [Mass.]) has a 9.48 goals-against average and .520 save percentage in goal this season. He made a career-high 17 saves in the third-round win over Washington and Lee.
