NEW ORLEANS, La. – Jack Regentin (Gettysburg, Pa./Biglerville), a junior on the Gettysburg men's outdoor track and field team, has been named to All-Mid-Atlantic Region team, announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) recently.

Regentin earned in the accolade in a pair of throwing events. He posted the No. 3 mark in the region in both the shot put and discus. In the shot put, his season-best mark of 15.50 meters came at the Paul Kaiser Classic on Apr. 26. His best discus mark came at the Millersville Metrics with a throw of 51.22 meters on Apr. 4 to earn his first trip to the NCAA championship in the event.

Regentin medaled in both events at the Centennial Conference championship, claiming silver in the discus and bronze in the shot put.

The top five athletes in each individual event and top three relays in each region earn all-region honors.
