An own goal in the eighth minute provided the only tally of the night, lifting Gettysburg to a 1-0 win over York (Pa.).

• Sean Kennedy (Cinnaminson, N.J./Cinnaminson) made four saves in the shutout for the Bullets.

FOR THE FOES
• Chase Broughman led the Spartans, stopping the only two Gettysburg shots on goal.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Josue De Leon Sabala (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic/The Kiski School [Pa.]) crossed a ball into the box from the right side, looking to feed Athi Msiza (Gauteng, South Africa/Berkshire School [Mass.]). A York defender stepped in front of Msiza, however, and attempted to clear the ball but put it backwards into the net instead for the 1-0 Bullets lead just 7:44 into the game.
