New York University, ranked second in the coaches' poll, recorded the fastest time in all 14 events to help defeat Gettysburg, 177-80.
THE LEADERS
•
Ethan Keiner (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) touched second in the 50 free (21.34 seconds). He was also fourth in the 100 free (48.10).
FOR THE FOES
• Pierce Downs led the Violets with individual victories in the 200 free (1:44.58) and 100 free (45.88 seconds).
• Teddy Cross won both backstroke events, taking the 100 in a time of 49.33 seconds and the 200 in a time of 1:50.05.
• Leo Han swept the butterfly events, capturing the 200 in a time of 1:53.29 before winning the 100 in a time of 49.90.
THE REST OF THE STORY

Toby Winston (Winchester, Va./Sherando) placed second in the 100 free (46.85 seconds).

Connor Mangan (Pipersville, Pa./Central Bucks West) was second in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:54.47. He was also third in the 200 butterfly (1:57.34). Mangan was also the winner of the 200 IM with a time of 1:57.40.

Evan Graham (Crofton, Md./The Key School) placed third both the 100 backstroke (51.73 seconds) and 200 backstroke (1:54.71).

Connor Booth (Wallingford, Conn./Suffield Academy) finished third in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:48.63.
•
Sam Nelson (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area) was third in the 500 free (4:54.07).
THE INSIDE STORY

Ben Butterfield (Henrico, Va./St. Christopher's School) was fourth in the 100 fly (51.94 seconds).
