THE REST OF THE STORY
• Neither team could get the offense going in the first half with the two teams combining to shoot 14-for-44 from the floor and 8-for-19 from the line with 17 turnovers. Franklin & Marshall jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first two minutes of the game before Gettysburg responded with the next nine to take a 9-6 lead with 13:39 to play. Vakaris Grauslys hit a 3-pointer to tie the game with 12:44 showing. After three free throws made it an 11-10 Bullets edge with 11:09 to play, the teams went the next 5 minutes, 27 seconds without a point. Franklin Jones tied the game with a single free throw before
Lorenzo Carrara (Norwood, Mass./Xaverian Brothers) snapped a 7-minute, 26-second span without a made field goal and sparked a 5-0 burst for the hosts. Trailing 20-15, the Diplomats scored four points in the final 1:40 to pull within one at the break.

Reece Craft (Downingtown, Pa./Devon Prep) hit a hook shot with 15:14 showing and Gettysburg scored seven of the game's next eight points to push the lead to 33-24 with 13:49 on the clock. Five points from
Malachi Briscoe (California, Md./St. Mary's Ryken) around a Kevin Nowoswiat floater made it a 40-29 game with 11:39 remaining. The Bullets slowly pushed the lead out to 15 at 50-35 with nine minutes to play before a Nowoswiat triple cut into the deficit. A common foul and two flagrant fouls assessed between the two teams resulted in three points for the Diplomats from the line to pull within nine. Gettysburg, however, scored the next six points that included two
Kosta Radulovic layups to extend the lead back to 15 and the lead remained in double digits the rest of the way.
