THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg held Ursinus to just 14.8 percent shooting and had a 30-12 rebounding advantage in the first half to build a 38-12 lead en route to a 73-44 victory.
THE LEADERS

Adeline Standish (Avon, Conn./Avon) led the Bullets with 15 points and seven rebounds, shooting 6-for-7 from the floor and 3-for-3 from the free-throw line.
FOR THE FOES
• Anna Chimento paced the Bears with 15 points.
• Ava Possenti chipped in seven points, four rebounds, four assists and 10 steals.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• A
Reagan Chrencik (New Hope, Pa./New Hope-Solebury) putback with 7:48 on the clock opened the scoring and gave Gettysburg a 2-0 lead. A single
Olivia Jones (Alexandria, Va./West Potomac) free throw and another Chrencik second-chance basket stretched the lead to 5-0 a minute later. Holding a 7-4 edge, a Jones pull-up with 4:26 showing sparked a 6-1 burst to open up a 13-5 lead en route to a 15-7 lead after 10 minutes.
• The Bullets tallied the first four points of the second quarter before Ava Possenti hit the lone Ursinus field goal of the quarter to make it 19-10 with 7:30 on the clock. Gettysburg, however, closed the period on a 19-3 run, opening up a 26-point lead.
Skylar Reale (Warren, N.J./Morristown Beard) scored six points during the stretch.
• Gettysburg scored 10 of the first 12 points in the third quarter, building a 48-14 lead with just 3:30 elapsed in the second half. Four different Bullets registered points in the opening burst. Ursinus responded with a 7-0 run to close to within 48-21 in just 57 seconds but Gettysburg quickly pushed the lead back out to as large as 33 and led by a 58-27 margin after three periods.
• The advantage grew as large as 36 in the fourth quarter when
Caitlyn Nagle (Hightstown, N.J./Hightstown) hit a triple from the top of the key with 6:32 to play. The lead remained north of 30 points until Anna Chimento hit the second of two free throws in the final 11 seconds for the 29-point final margin.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Gettysburg finished with a 49-28 rebounding advantage.
