Gettysburg tops Rowan in home finale

THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg won 11 of the 14 events and finished second in nine to defeat Rowan, 172-90.

THE LEADERS
Evan Graham (Crofton, Md./The Key School) recorded four wins on the day to lead the Bullets. Individually, he won the 100 backstroke (51.31 seconds), 200 breaststroke (2:11.62) and 200 IM (1:55.12).
Connor Mangan (Pipersville, Pa./Central Bucks West) added two additional victories. He touched first in the 200 fly (1:55.04) and 200 back (1:52.39). He was also second in the 200 IM (1:55.65).

FOR THE FOES
• Gavin Danze won the 1000 free and 500 free to lead the Profs. He touched first in the 1000 with a time of 9:56.07 and the 500 in a time of 4:51.75.
• Jim Mahoney won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 59.30 seconds.

THE REST OF THE STORY
Evan Graham, Connor Booth (Wallingford, Conn./Suffield Academy), Max McAlister (Powell, Ohio/Olentangy) and Toby Winston (Winchester, Va./Sherando) opened the day with a win in the 400 medley relay, combining for a time of 3:28.41. Connor Mangan joined Jackson Schundler (Charlottesville, Va./Western Albemarle), Ben Butterfield (Henrico, Va./St. Christopher's School) and Ethan Keiner (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) to finish second with a time of 3:31.38.
Cole Martin (Penn Laird, Va./Spotswood) won the 200 free with a time of 1:44.67 while Winston placed second with a time of 1:45.58. Martin was also third in the 100 free (48.28 seconds).
• Graham led four Bullets to the wall in the 100 back. Butterfield followed him home with a time off 53.35 seconds. Butterfield was also second in the 200 back (1:56.43).
• Keiner added a win in the 50 free with a time of 21.36 seconds, edging Lorenzo Zullo (Norwalk, Conn./Norwalk) by 0.10 seconds. On the other side of the break, Zullo won the 100 free in a time of 46.98 seconds.
• McAlister rounded out the individual winners, touching first in the 100 fly with a time of 52.22 seconds.
• Winston, Booth, Zullo and Keiner combined to win the 200 free relay with a time of 1:26.05.

THE INSIDE STORY
Connor Booth and Ben Campet (Centreville, Va./Westfield) went 2-3 in the 100 breaststroke with times of 1:00.34 and 1:01.24, respectively. Campet was also second in the 200 breaststroke (2:14.33).
Sam Nelson (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area) placed second in the 1000 free with a time of 9:56.49 and third in the 500 free (4:56.23).
