York (Pa.), ranked 19th in the latest D3hoops.com poll, had the final say in a back-and-forth second half, edging Gettysburg 64-61 on a 3-pointer with 2.8 seconds left.

• York jumped out to a 5-2 lead in the game's first 1:28 before six straight points from
Aidan Mess (Columbia, Md./Mt. St. Joseph) gave Gettysburg an 8-5 lead with 14:25 on the clock. A Jayden Rowe cutting layup snapped a nearly six-minute drought from the floor for the Spartans and made it a 10-8 game. Five points from
Caleb Gillus and two from
Reece Craft (Downingtown, Pa./Devon Prep) stretched the lead to 17-8 with 11:06 on the clock. The lead remained between six and nine points until a
Ray Zamloot (Caldwell, N.J./James Caldwell) corner trey and jumper bookended a 6-1 burst that gave the Bullets a 29-18 lead with 3:23 showing. The Spartans closed the half on a 10-4 run to pull within 33-28 at the intermission.
• York carried that momentum into the second half, scoring 11 of the half's first 15 points to take a 39-36 lead with 14:51 remaining. Trailing 42-38,
Lorenzo Carrara (Norwood, Mass./Xaverian Brothers) scored five straight points to give Gettysburg a 43-42 edge with 10:40 on the clock. A Rowe jumper and two Ben Troyer free throws put the Spartans back in front but
Kosta Radulovic (Podgorica, Montenegro/Perkiomen School [Pa.]) and Gillus were both able to hit layups to put the Bullets back in front with 7:09 remaining. One Rowe free throw tied the game at 47-all with 6:43 to play. After both teams missed the front end of 1-and-1s, Mess converted both ends of the bonus for a 49-47 lead with 5:37 on the clock. Tate Landis responded with two from the charity stripe 38 seconds later to retie the game. Cooper Haberern hit a 3-pointer to put the hosts back in front before a
Josh Herr (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area) free throw and Zamloot triple from the top of the arc gave Gettysburg a 53-52 edge with 2:52 showing. The teams traded the points until Landis hit a leaning 3-pointer with 1:10 put York in front, 59-56. After missing two free throws with 30.0 seconds left, the Spartans got the offensive reboiund and Rowe hit a pair with 25.6 ticks on the clock. Gillus drove to the hoop to cut the deficit back to three with 18.2 seconds. Gettysburg forced a turnover and inbounded in the front court with 17.6 seconds, leading to a Gillus 3-pointer from the top with 11.8 seconds. Colin Treude responded with a kickout corner triple with 2.8 seconds to avoid overtime and get the win.
