THE REST OF THE STORY
• Tied at 2-all early, Ray Zamloot (Caldwell, N.J./James Caldwell) hit a 3-pointer to put Gettysburg in front for good with 16:57 to play. A Dane Moran driving layup made it a 9-7 game before Kosta Radolovic (Podgorica, Montenegro/Perkiomen School [Pa.]) hit from short range and Lorenzo Carrara (Norwood, Mass./Xaverian Brothers) hit one from long range to stretch the lead to 14-7 with 12:30 to play, igniting a 30-8 run over the final 13:40 of the first half that included holding Dickinson without a field goal for the final 7:47 of the stanza. Reece Craftscored seven of the Bullets' points in a final 17-1 stretch and all 11 of his first-half points over the entire run.
• Jacob Pichay started the second half with a second-chance layup to snap an 8-minute, 7-second drought from the floor. Gettysburg grew the lead to as large as 45-18 after a 6-0 burst over just 1:34. An Isaiah Edmond 3-pointer, however, with 16:45 on the clock started a 10-3 run and close the margin to 20 nearly four minutes later. Dickinson got to within 19 on a Moran layup with 9:04 to play. However with a 55-35 lead, a 13-1 run over just 2 minutes, 41 seconds pushed the lead over 30 and sealed the win. Caleb Gillus scored six of the 13 Gettysburg points.
