THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg, ranked 25th in the latest D3baseball.com poll, scored runs in six of its final seven at bats to defeat Heidelberg, 11-6.

THE LEADERS
Brendan Laqui (Randolph, N.J./Randolph) led the Bullets with two extra-base hits and four RBIs.

FOR THE FOES
• Braedy Limke went 2-for-5 with two RBIs and two runs scored to lead the Student Princes.

THE REST OF THE STORY
Dominick Balsamo (Brooklyn, N.Y./Xaverian) and Michael Fischetti (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) drew back-to-back walks to start the second before Brendan Laqui roped a one-out triple for a 2-0 lead.
Jack Amirata (Montclair, N.J./Montclair Kimberley Academy) led off the third with a single down the line before an error and two-out Laqui double to left stretched the lead to 4-0.
• Will Bergan (Langhorne, Pa./The Pennington School) and Robert Murphy (Berkeley Heights, N.J./Gov. Livingston) each singled to start the third and put runners at the corner. A wild pitch and passed ball around a Will Stellato (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Warde) sacrifice fly made it a 6-0 game.
• Five straight one-out hits in the top of the fifth, including a Braedy Limke two-run single, cut the margin to 6-4.
• Bercaw led off the home sixth with a triple before scoring on a one-out Stellato single to left. An Amirata double stretched the lead to 8-4.
• Connor Roberts walked to start the top of the seventh before a Limke single and wild pitch put two runners in scoring position. After a popout, Garrett Labeau doubled to the gap to make it an 8-6 game.
• A walk, sacrifice and errant throw on a second sacrifice attempt got those two runs back in the home seventh before Will Roche (Milton, Mass./Boston College H.S.) scored pinch-runner Henry Smith (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle) for a five-run lead in the eighth.
