Evan Graham (Crofton, Md./The Key School) opened his first NCAA championship program in the 400 IM. The sophomore once again reset his own program record in the event, posting a time of 3:51.69. The mark took another 0.76 seconds off his program and conference record set on Feb. 21 at the conference championship event. Graham qualified fifth for the finals and will swim in lane two of the championship final.
THURSDAY NIGHT RECAP
• Graham earned his first All-America honors with a seventh-place finish in the 400 IM, turning in a time of 3:52.83. He becomes the first Bullets men's swimming first-team All-American at the championship since 2016 and first one to claim the honor in the 400 IM since Jeff Cuddeback finished ninth in the event in 1978.

The Bullets continue competition on Friday with entries in the 100 backstroke. Prelims begin at 10 a.m.
