Gettysburg, ranked 21st in the latest D3baseball.com poll, rapped out 16 hits as part of a 7-0 win at Mount Aloysius.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• With one out in the fourth inning,
Dominick Balsamo (Brooklyn, N.Y./Xaverian) drew a four-pitch walk before
Brayden Casas (New Rochelle, N.Y./New Rochelle) singled and
Jack Amirata (Montclair, N.J./Montclair Kimberley Academy) walked to load the bases. A two-out
Brendan Laqui single down the line staked Gettysburg to a 2-0 lead.
• One inning later,
Mike Coleman (Drexel Hill, Pa./Monsignor Bonner) singled with one out.
Will Stellato (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Warde) singled through the left side and Balsamo dropped a knock into left to load the bases. A Casas sacrifice fly and Amirata single up the middle pushed the lead to 4-0.
• Stellato was hit by a pitch to start the top of the seventh before back-to-back singles from Balsamo and Casas stretched the advantage to 5-0. A one-out
Will Roche (Milton, Mass./Boston College H.S.) sacrifice fly made it 6-0.
• Roche doubled with two outs in the ninth before a Laqui RBI single set the final margin.

Will Stellato's two hits gave him 100 for his career, reaching the milestone on the fifth inning single.

Dominick Balsamo and
Brayden Casas also all added a pair of knocks.

Luca Tosca (Miami, Fla./Gulliver Prep) and
Alex Bergen (Potomac, Md./Good Counsel) combined to throw the first eight innings, throwing four innings each. Tosca scattered three hits with five strikeouts. Bergen did not allow a hit, fanning six with one walk.
Ethan Mitnick (Linwood, N.J./Mainland Regional) struck out one to preserve the shutout in the ninth.
