THE SKINNY STORY
McDaniel scored five runs in the fourth and four in the fifth to key a 12-7, weather-shortened win over No. 18 Gettysburg. The game was called after seven innings due to lightning in the area.

Mike Coleman (Drexel Hill, Pa./Monsignor Bonner) led the Bullets with two hits and three RBIs.

• Thomas Mezzullo led the Green Terror with three hits, two RBIs and two runs scored.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• In the bottom of the third, Shea McKenna was hit by a pitch. With McKenna at third and one out, a Ben Davis sacrifice fly gave McDaniel a 1-0 lead.
• DJ Stolba led off the fourth with a single before Austin Sealing walked. A one-out Ethan Haddock infield single loaded the bases before Patrick Kelly walked to force in a run. A McKenna double made it 4-0 before a Mezzullo infield single reloaded the bases. Davis was hit by a pitch to make it 5-0 before an RBI groundout stretched the lead to 6-0.
• Two fielding errors around a
Will Roche (Milton, Mass./Boston College H.S.) single loaded the bases with one out. Back-to-back walks to
Will Bercaw (Langhorne, Pa./The Pennington School) and
Robert Murphy (Berkeley Heights, N.J./Gov. Livingston) made it 6-2 before a two-run
Mike Coleman single closed the deficit to 6-4.
• Austin Sealing led off the fifth with a home run before a walk and two-out single put two runners on for Mezzulo, who doubled home both runners. Davis followed with an RBI single for a 10-4 lead.
• A Murphy walk and Coleman double made it 10-5 in the seventh before a two-out, two-run home run from
Jack Amirata (Montclair, N.J./Montclair Kimberley Academy) trimmed the margin to 10-7.
• A single, error and walk loaded the bases with one out before a wild pitch and RBI groundout set the final score in the bottom of the frame.
