THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg scored 25.33 points to finish tenth at the York Twilight Meet. The Bullets finished with two all-time top-ten times.
THE LEADERS
- Jack Regentin (Gettysburg, Pa., Biglerville) led the Bullets with a record-breaking finish at hammer placing eighth with a season-best and Centennial Conference (CC)-qualifying toss of 46.38 meters. He added two more season-bests and CC-qualifying throws in discus (second place) and shot put (third place) of 46.02 meters and 14.86 meters, respectively.
- Jack Taylor (Mohnton, Pa., Twin Valley) placed sixth in the 5,000 with a season-best and CC-qualifying time of 15:25.02 which ranks eighth in program history.
FOR THE FOES
- Dickinson won the meet with 112 points. Saint Francis (Pa.) came second with 103 while Elizabethtown came in third with 84.33.
THE REST OF THE STORY
- Trey Hunter (Reinholds, Pa., Cocalico) finished ninth in the 400 with a season-best and CC-qualifying time of 50.50 seconds.
- David Magill (Mamaroneck, N.Y., Rye Neck) came in 11th in the 800 with a season-best and CC-qualifying time of 2:00.44.
- Andrew Oshetski (Freeport, Maine, Freeport) competed in shot put with a season-best and CC-qualifying throw of 11.65 meters to finish 16th.
- Joaquin Lalama (Quito, Pichincha, Ecuador, Colegio Americano de Quito) placed 23rd in long jump with a season-best and CC-qualifying jump of 5.56 meters.
- Mick Lorenger (Alexandria, Va., Thomas Edison) finished 24th in the 400 with a season-best and CC-qualifying time of 53.96 seconds. He also placed 68th in the 200 with a season-best time of 25.49 seconds.
- Pat Zoccolillo (New Canaan, Conn., New Canaan) came in 24th in the 400-meter hurdles with a season-best and CC-qualifying time of 1:06.27.
- Stefano Orlando (Norwalk, Conn., New Canaan) competed in the 100 finishing 38th with a season-best and CC-qualifying time of 11.64 seconds. He added a second CC-qualifying finish in long jump finishing 18th with a leap of 5.80 meters.
- Rouri Takahashi (Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, Japan, Wilbraham & Monson Academy) placed 38th in the 200 with a season-best and CC-qualifying time of 23.60 seconds. He added a second season-best in the 800 placing 51st with a time of 2:13.65.
- Kyle Northrup (New Hope, Pa., New Hope-Solebury) finished 40th in the 200 with a season-best and CC-qualifying time of 23.62 seconds. He also finished 49th in the 800 with another season-best time of 2:10.08.
- Dom Roussos (West Hartford, Conn., Hall) came in seventh in javelin with a CC-qualifying throw of 51.30 meters.
- Mark Overlander (Marietta, Pa., Donegal) competed in pole vault to finish eighth with a CC-qualifying vault of 3.95 meters.
- Jeremy Cruz (Westfield, N.J., Westfield) placed 13th in javelin with a CC-qualifying distance of 46.32 meters.
THE INSIDE STORY
- Maddon McNicholas (Morgantown, Pa., Twin Valley), Colin Carpenter (Ridgefield, Conn., Wooster School), Andrew Ersin (Wynnewood, Pa., Lower Merion) and Ben Cole (Wilmington, Del., Archmere Academy) combined for a fourth place finish in the 4x800 meter relay with a season-best time of 9:03.32.
- Asher Leuzzi (Weston, Conn., Weston) came in 14th in the 5,000 with a season-best time of 16:04.94.
- Maddon McNicholas (Morgantown, Pa., Twin Valley) competed in the 1500 with a season-best time of 4:14.16 to finish 15th.
- Isaac Parks-Gill (Lewistown, Pa., Mifflin County) placed 18th in the 800 with a season-best time of 2:02.86. Jack Rogers (Gaithersburg, Md., Our Lady Of Good Counsel) finished shortly behind in 21st with his own season-best time of 2:03.58.
- Colin Carpenter (Ridgefield, Conn., Wooster School) finished 22nd in the 1500 with a season-best time of 4:20.24.
- John Murphy IV (Grantham, N.H., Northfield Mount Hermon School) came in 23rd in the 5,000 with a season-best time of 16:35.41. Jayden Craig (Westminster, Md., Westminster) finished behind in 36th with his own season-best time of 17:29.99.
- Baxter Merriam (Scarborough, Maine, Scarborough) competed in the 800 finishing 37th with a season-best time of 2:05.75.
- Matthew Kurek (Trappe, Pa., La Salle College) placed 39th in the 5,000 with a season-best time of 17:37.03.
- Ben Cole (Wilmington, Del., Archmere Academy) finished 48th in the 1500 with a season-best time of 4:33.87. Matthew Wagner (Downingtown, Pa., Downingtown STEM Academy) finished close behind in 50th with his own season-best time of 4:35.96.
- Adam Balthaser (Mohnton, Pa., Governor Mifflin) came in 53rd in the 800 with a season-best time of 2:14.18. He added another season-best time of 24.64 seconds in the 200 to finish 62nd.
- Andrew Ersin (Wynnewood, Pa., Lower Merion) competed in the 1500 finishing 53rd with a season-best time of 4:40.14.
- Robby Allen (Sparta, N.J.) placed 14th in high jump with a leap of 1.65 meters.
