THE REST OF THE STORY

Owen McAllister (Charlotte, N.C./Charlotte Catholic) picked up the ground ball after the ensuing faceoff and scored his first to tie the game at 2-all. Solo runs from

Vincent Ferrara (Sparta Township, N.J./Delbarton School) opened up a 5-2 lead with 2:51 showing. Two Dale goals closed the deficit to 5-4 after one quarter.
• Johnson found
Jackson Hearn (Houston, Texas/Episcopal Bellaire) in transition off a turnover 30 seconds into the second quarter. The teams traded goals until, holding an 8-6 lead,
Will Schwanke (Towson, Md./Calvert Hall) scored with 4:50 to play in the second quarter. Johnson then deposited a Hearn feed before
JP Meyo (Westfield, N.J./Seton Hall Prep) corralled a shot off the post that rebounded 30 yards out late in the clock. Meyo found Johnson on the doorstep and he went behind-the-back, no-look to make it 11-6 with just 0.4 seconds on the clock.
• Luviano got the opening goal of the second half but
Brady Schwenk won the ensuing faceoff and went right to the cage, finishing low.
Miles Balachandran (Wayne, Pa./The Haverford School) then got in the action with his first career goal with 12:44 remaining. Barroll returned the favor for Hearn to make it 14-7 with 8:15 to play. After a Liam Timmins goal, Hearn and Barroll both found the back of the net to make it 16-8 but Luviano responded in the final 31 seconds to trim the deficit to seven.
• A
Will Hedley (Charlotte, N.C./The Hotchkiss School) pole goal and
Declan Mack (Wynnewood, Pa./Lower Merion) tally made it 18-9 with 6:01 to play. Luviano and Dale finished off the scoring in the final 4:20.
