Gettysburg, ranked 21st in the latest D3baseball.com poll, held off a ninth-inning rally to notch a 4-3 win over Dickinson.
THE LEADERS
•
Ryan Wootten (Glen Mills, Pa./Garnet Valley) tossed five innings for the Bullets with one strikeouts and allowed just two hits for the victory on the mound.

Jack Amirata (Montclair, N.J./Montclair Kimberley Academy) led the offense with two hits and a walk.
FOR THE FOES
• Freeman Hunt was 2-for-3 to lead the Red Devils, adding an RBI and a walk.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Johnny Bruno walked with two outs in the bottom of the first before stealing second and scoring on a Kyle Bailey single for an early 1-0 Dickinson lead.
• With one out in the visitor second,
Jack Amirata singled through the right side before scoring on a
Michael Fischetti (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) triple to tie the game. A
Connor Tongring (West Allenhurst, N.J./Ocean Twp.) sacrifice fly gave Gettysburg a 2-1 lead.

Will Bercaw (Langhorne, Pa./The Pennington School) reached on an error to start the fifth before stealing second and scoring on a throwing error to push the lead to 3-1.

Will Stellato (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Warde) one-out double, error and Amirata single coupled with heads-up base running extended the lead to 4-1 in the seventh.
• With one out in the bottom of the ninth, Will Ferris reached on an infield single. A walk and hit batter loaded the bases and forced a pitching change. After an out at the plate for the second out, two more walks made it a one-run game but
Ethan Mitnick (Linwood, N.J./Mainland Regional) got a punchout to end the game.
