NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. –
Julia Daly (McLean, Va./Langley), a senior on the Gettysburg women's lacrosse team has been named to the All-America team by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA), released on Friday.
Daly, an attacker, earns her second straight coaches' organization All-America honor and first first-team nod after being named to the second team last season. A three-time first-team all-region honoree, the Centennial Conference (CC) Attacker of the Year started all 21 games. She led the team with 66 goals, 31 assists and 97 points. She also added 20 caused turnovers and 36 ground balls. She registered six or more points in nine games this season, including a career-high eight goals against Tufts on Mar. 18.
The Bullets (14-7, 7-1 CC) advanced to the third round of the NCAA tournament, falling to Tufts on Saturday.
