LANCASTER, Pa. – Five members of the Gettysburg men's lacrosse team have been named to the All-Centennial Conference (CC) team, released on Wednesday.
Charlie Johnson (Wilton, Conn./Wilton),
Ethan Kessler (Ridgefield, Conn./Millbrook School) and
Brian Delduchetto (Weston, Mass./Deerfield Academy) earned first-team honors while
Jackson Barroll (Annapolis, Md./Severn School) and
Will Hedley (Charlotte, N.C./The Hotchkiss School [Conn.]) claimed second-team accolades.
Johnson, a junior attacker, is making his first all-conference appearance. Appearing in 14 games with 13 starts, he leads the team with 43 goals and is third on the team with 49 points. He has scored multiple goals in 12 contests with five or more goals in five games. He has also picked up 34 ground balls.
Kessler, a senior attacker, is making his second straight first-team all-conference appearance. Starting all 16 games, he is third on the team with 26 goals and has added 15 assists for 41 points. He has scored multiple goals in five games this season, including tallying four at both Dickinson on Apr. 8 and Washington on Apr. 18. He has three or more points in eight games this season.
Delduchetto, a junior defender, is making his first all-conference appearance. Starting all 16 games, he leads the team with 20 caused turnovers while also picking up 22 ground balls. He recorded two or more caused turnovers in six games, including three caused turnovers to go with four ground balls at Washington on Apr. 18.
Barroll, a sophomore attacker, is making his second appearance on the all-conference team after being tabbed honorable mention last season. Starting all 16 games, the 2025 Rookie of the Year ranks second on the team with 58 points for an encore performance. He is second on the team with 33 goals, including the game-tying goal with nine seconds remaining in regulation in Sunday's CC championship game. He is also second on the team with 25 assists. He has eight games this season with four or more points, including a four-goal, four-assist performance at Ursinus on Apr. 11. He also had a seven-point outing with five goals and two assists at Swarthmore on Mar. 21. He also has 29 ground balls.
Hedley, a senior long-stick midfielder, is making his third appearance on the all-conference team after back-to-back first-team all-conference honors. Playing all 16 games, he has 33 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers. He also has contributed seven goals and three assists to the attack. He has multiple ground balls in 12 games, including five against Franklin & Marshall on Apr. 25 to go with two caused turnovers.
Senior
Benny Kasoff (Leesburg, Va./Riverside) was Gettysburg's representative on the All-Sportsmanship Team.
The Bullets (12-4, 7-1 CC) won the CC championship with a 13-12 overtime win at Dickinson. Gettysburg travels to Christopher Newport and will take on Stevens in an NCAA tournament second-round game on Saturday. Game time is 3 p.m.
