LANCASTER, Pa. – Andrew Ekstrom (York, Pa./York Suburban), a sophomore on the Gettysburg men's golf team, has been named Centennial Conference (CC) Golfer of the Week for the week of Sept. 1-7.

It is the first time he has claimed the conference's weekly honor.

Ekstrom led the Bullets to the team title at the Dickinson Fall Invitational with a two-day score of 138 – the lowest of his collegiate career – posting matching rounds of three-under 69 to finish tied for second. As a team, Gettysburg fired a two-day score of 566.

Gettysburg returns to action at the Gate City Invitational hosted by Greensboro on Sunday and Monday.
