HOME, SWEET HOME: Today is the Bullets' home opener and the first time head coach Taylor Dyer will lead her team at Shirk Field. Gettysburg is 26-22 at home since the start of the 2015 season.
YOUTH MOVEMENT: Of the 28 players on the roster this season, 20 are in either their first or second year of collegiate action. Six of the 11 starters in the opener at Shenandoah were from those two classes, including two first-year players. Emilia Saccento was among those first-year players to start, getting the nod in the cage.
