Tonight's game marks the sixth meeting between Gettysburg (0-1) and Alvernia (1-1) in a series that dates back to 2016. The Bullets lead the all-time series 4-1, winning each of the last four contests. The lone win by the Golden Wolves came in 2016 by a 6-1 margin in Reading.

WHEN LAST WE MET: Charlotte Lacey made her first collegiate goal a memorable one, smashing the game-winning goal in double-overtime to lead Gettysburg past Alvernia 4-3 last season. LAST TIME OUT: Gettysburg prevented the shutout with a goal in the waning seconds, falling 4-1 at Shenandoah in the season opener for both teams on Thursday. Andie Aloi was the lone goal-scorer for the Bullets. Farren Winter notched two goals for the Hornets. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

HOME, SWEET HOME: Today is the Bullets' home opener and the first time head coach Taylor Dyer will lead her team at Shirk Field. Gettysburg is 26-22 at home since the start of the 2015 season.

YOUTH MOVEMENT: Of the 28 players on the roster this season, 20 are in either their first or second year of collegiate action. Six of the 11 starters in the opener at Shenandoah were from those two classes, including two first-year players. Emilia Saccento was among those first-year players to start, getting the nod in the cage. 

LAST TIME OUT: Bryn Mawr needed just one goal to defeat Alvernia 1-0 on Sunday. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

CENTENNIAL START: The Golden Wolves' first three games of the season are against Centennial Conference foes. They will not play another team from the CC after today's matchup. Today is the rubber match for Alvernia after the squad split the first two contests. The Wolves defeated Haverford 3-2 in the opener and fell 1-0 to Bryn Mawr.

ONE-WOMAN CREW: Junior Brianna Burkholder has scored all three goals this season for Alvernia. The three tallies on Thursday were the first three of her collegiate career.
