HEAD OF THE CLASS: Kylie Ulrich and Mary Huegel swept CC Players of the Week honors last week. Ulrich earned the Offensive Player of the Week honors for the second time in three weeks while Huegel snagged the Defensive Player of the Week accolades for the first time this season. Ulrich led the Bullets to a pair of key conference wins on the week, averaging 3.50 kills over eight sets and hit .250. She knocked down 16 kills in a 3-1 win at Franklin & Marshall and 12 in a 3-1 win at Swarthmore. She also had four total blocks on the week. Huegel averaged 1.38 blocks per set, knocking down 11 total blocks in the pair of 3-1 wins. In the win over Franklin & Marshall, she had six block assists to go with five kills. On Saturday, she tallied five blocks to go with nine kills. She hit .273 on the week with 14 kills and three aces.
BLOCK PARTY: The Bullets enter the week ranked seventh in Division III at 2.44 blocks per set. Mary Huegel has recorded four or more blocks in each of the last six matches and has nine matches in 2023 with five or more blocks. She is seventh individually in Division III, averaging 1.24 blocks per set. Olivia Biggs (0.98 bps) and Catherine Holtz (0.91) make it a clean sweep of the top three ranking spots in the conference.
