Today's non-conference game marks the fifth meeting between Gettysburg (2-1) and Shenandoah (2-1) in a series that dates back to 2013. The Hornets lead the all-time series 3-1 with victories in the last three meetings. The lone Bullet win came by a 6-1 margin on Oct. 8, 2013 in Gettysburg.

WHEN LAST WE MET: Gettysburg prevented the shutout with a goal in the waning seconds, falling 4-1 at Shenandoah in the season opener for both teams last year. Andie Aloi  was the lone goal-scorer for the Bullets. Farren Winter notched two goals for the Hornets. (Full Story) (Box Score)

LAST TIME OUT: Gettysburg broke through in a scoreless game late in the third quarter and made that tally stand for a 1-0 victory at Lebanon Valley last Wednesday. Bella Bonazinga scored the lone goal of the game for the Bullets. Lauren Jancsarics made one save in goal for the Flying Dutchmen. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

SIX PACK OF SCORERS: The Bullets have had six different players score a goal in the first three games of the season. Hailey Rhine is the only player with more than one tally this season, hitting the backboard twice in the opener at Alvernia. Eight different Gettysburg players have registered a point this season with Morgan Cherry adding two assists. Brinsley Rushe is the only player with both a goal and an assist in the young season. 

LAST TIME OUT: Shenandoah, ranked 25th in the NFHCA preseason poll, sailed past Washington (Md.) 4-0 on Saturday.  Mairead McKibbin scored twice for the Hornets. Both goals came from Gracie Wilkerson in the third quarter. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

CAN'T WIN IF YOU DON'T SCORE: Shenandoah has posted huge shutouts in both of its early season wins. The Hornets toppled Washington & Jefferson 9-0 in the opener and Washington 4-0 on Saturday. Shenandoah has scored 14 goals this season - 13 of which have come in those two wins. Mairead McKibbon has been in the center of the offense early on, contributing four goals and two assists.

CENTENNIAL CALLING: Shenandoah plays its third straight game against a Centennial Conference opponent this afternoon. This is the rubber game for the Hornets, who dropped a 3-1 decision to Johns Hopkins last Sunday before defeating Washington on Saturday. This is the only of those three games that is on the road and the first contest outside of Winchester for Shenandoah.
