OPENING TIP: Today's non-conference game marks the 32nd all-time meeting between Gettysburg (3-0) and York (Pa.) (1-1) in a series that dates back to 1981. The Bullets hold a 16-15 edge in the all-time series after an 88-87 double-overtime win last season in York. The Spartans had won the previous four matchups.

WHEN LAST WE MET: Gettysburg built an 11-point first-half lead. York (Pa.) countered by building a nine-point second-half lead. Neither held and the Bullets finally opened up a five-point lead in the second overtime before holding on for an 88-87 win last season. Nate Williams led the Bullets with 26 points that included going 5-for-7 from deep and 9-for-9 from the free-throw line. Kai Cipalla led the Spartans with 33 points and 13 rebounds. He also handed out four assists.

LAST TIME OUT: Gettysburg built a 20-point lead late in the first half and led by no fewer than 19 fore the entirety of the second half, defeating Mount Aloysius 96-78 in its first road game of the season on Tuesday. Nate Williams led the Bullets with his fifth career 20-point outing, pouring in 21 that 17 in the first half. He also had seven assists, six rebounds and three steals. Rassoul Abakar added a career-high 17 points on 6 of 8 shooting that included a 5-for-7 showing from long range. DaVon Haggans led the Mounties with 21 points and seven rebounds. GETTING OFFENSIVE: The Bullets scored 96 points in a road win at Mount Aloysius on Tuesday night. The 96 points scored were the most by a Gettysburg team since scoring 99 on Dec. 7, 2021. The Orange and Blue shot 54.2 percent from the floor and 41.2 percent from 3-point range, hitting 14 of 34 treys. The 14 made triples were more than in the first two games combined (12). Lorenzo Carrara has hit seven of the Bullets' 26 3-pointers this season, including canning 4 of 6 on Tuesday night. Rassoul Abakar has six 3-pointers on the year after hitting 5 of 7 on Tuesday. The 14 made triples as a team were the most in a game since Dec. 29, 2019 when Gettysburg went 14 of 24 against St. Mary's.

LAST TIME OUT: York kicked off a five-game road swing with a 70-56 setback at Johns Hopkins on Tuesday. The Blue Jays used a 19-2 run late in regulation to turn a two-point York advantage into a 15-point deficit. The Spartans scored just nine points over the final nine minutes of the game. Kai Cipalla led the way for the Spartans with 20 points to go with eight rebounds, three blocked shots and a career-high four steals. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

TRIPLE THREAT: York has gotten more than two-thirds of its offense in the young season from three players. Kai Cipalla, Jayden Rowe and Jackson Mascari have combined for 81 of the Spartans' 121 points through the first two games. Cipalla leads the way at 16.5 points per game after the 20-point outing on Tuesday. Rowe is averaging 12.5 ppg while Mascari is chipping in 11.5 ppg. Cipalli has reached double digits in both games while Rowe had 16 against Hobart and Mascari netted 14 at Johns Hopkins.
