OPENING FACEOFF: Today's Centennial Conference (CC) game marks the 58th all-time meeting between No. 11 Gettysburg (4-3, 1-0 CC) and McDaniel (7-2, 0-1 CC) in a series that dates back to 1969. The Bullets lead the all-time series 44-13 and have won the last 10 straight. The last Green Terror victory was by a 12-10 score on Apr. 21, 2012 in Westminster.

WHEN LAST WE MET: Gettysburg raced out to a 9-0 lead after the first quarter and never looked back for a 18-8 win at McDaniel last season. Kyle Howard led the Bullets with five goals – all in the first half. He also had an assist for six points. Jonathan Moshe won nine of the 12 faceoffs he took with six ground balls. LAST TIME OUT: Gettysburg outscored Ursinus in three of the four quarters to forge a 14-9 win in the Centennial Conference opener for both teams on Saturday. Jack Dunleavy tallied a career-high eight points on four goals and four assists. Drake Kasoff scored two goals for the Bears to go with two ground balls. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

NO. 11 WITH A BULLET: Gettysburg dropped one spot to No. 11 in the latest USILA Div. III coaches' poll when Amherst jumped the Bullets after a 9-8 win last Wednesday. 

CRAZY EIGHTS: Jack Dunleavy recorded a career-high eight points in Saturday's conference-opening win at Ursinus. The junior tallied four goals to go with four assists on the afternoon. He enters today's game as the team leader in goals (18), assists (13) and points (31). He has multiple points in all seven games this season and has recorded four or more in four of the last five outings. He has five straight hat tricks to his credit.

LAST TIME OUT: Washington scored the game's first 11 goals en route to a 16-9 victory over McDaniel on Saturday in the Centennial Conference opener for both teams. Freshman Carter Youtz continued his scoring streak for the Green Terror, netting his fourth consecutive hat trick with four goals. 10 IS THE MAGIC NUMBER: McDaniel has not allowed double-digit goals in any of its seven wins this season but in both losses, the opponent has managed to score more than 10 goals. In fact, the Green Terror has not surrendered more than seven in any victory, allowing an average of 5.57 goals in those seven contests. Brighton Lorber is backstopping a defense that has a conference-best 7.37 goals-against average on the year. Lorber has made 81 saves for a .583 save percentage, which is also tops in the CC.
