Gettysburg (20-2, 15-2 CC) equaled the second-best win total in school history with the victory and the team moved into a tie for first-place with McDaniel College in the Centennial Conference.

A low-scoring affair quickly turned in favor of the Bullets midway through the opening half as the hosts ran off 14-straight points, while Franklin & Marshall (9-13, 5-12 CC) went over seven minutes without a point. Fields helped the Orange and Blue cap the half on a strong note by netting the team's final eight points, including a three-pointer with five ticks left to set the score at 30-13 heading into the break.

After making just 5-of-23 attempts (21.7 percent) in the first half, the Diplomats rebounded in the second with a much more efficient effort of 41.4 percent, but Gettysburg was already dialed in and hit over 50 percent of its second-half field goals. The lead reached as many as 33 (68-35) on a jumper by sophomore Sara Kinsley with 3:35 left.

Gettysburg finished with 25 field goals in 61 attempts for a shooting percentage of 41. The Bullets out-rebounded the visitors 48-36 with 19 caroms coming on the offensive glass alone. The hosts also swatted a season-high nine shots in the game.

Fields wasn't alone in the scoring effort as Kinsley and sophomore Julie McGrory each reached double-figures for Gettysburg. McGrory continued her hot streak with 15 points and seven rebounds, marking her third double-digit effort in the last four games. Junior Caitlin Moser turned in nine points and six rebounds and tied Kinsley for team honors with five assists.

Megan Pauley made a late run to finish as Franklin & Marshall's scoring leader for the fourth-straight game with 13 tallies. Alexa Barbush added 11 points, five rebounds, and three steals.
