GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Saturday's contest between Gettysburg College and Muhlenberg College will have important conference playoff implications, but the game will have an even bigger impact away from the court as the Bullets take part in Play 4Kay® in an effort to raise awareness about breast cancer.

Formerly known as The WBCA Pink Zone®, Play 4Kay is a nationwide initiative led by coaches seeking to raise breast cancer awareness on the court, across campuses, in communities and beyond. The event was rebranded in 2012 to honor the legacy of former North Carolina State University head women's basketball coach Kay Yow who helped unite thousands in the fight against women's cancers before her passing in 2009.

Gettysburg, along with its Centennial Conference brethren, has been an annual participant in Play 4Kay and has raised thousands of dollars for the cause. The Bullets will seek to continue that trend this weekend against Muhlenberg.

The team will be selling long-sleeve t-shirts emblazoned with both the school and breast cancer logos for $15 on campus and prior to the game. The squad is also accepting charitable donations. All proceeds from the event will go to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund®.

Please help the Bullets continue to raise breast cancer awareness by buying a shirt or making a donation this weekend.
