2021 NFHCA Division III All-Region Teams

Emma Bertrando (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) picked up the second all-region accolade of her career as selected by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) and announced on Monday, Nov. 22.
Bertrando earned a second-team selection for the second time in her career and was one of 32 players named to the team in Region 5. The senior became the first two-time all-region selection at Gettysburg since
Liz Baron '14 in 2012 and 2013. She is the sixth Bullet to earn all-region accolades multiple times since 1993.
A four-time All-Centennial Conference selection, including first-team honors this fall, Bertrando finished the regular season seventh in the conference with 23 points coming on six goals and a league-best 11 assists. She scored a pair of goals against Stevenson University and dished out a program-record tying three assists in a win over McDaniel College. Her assist total tied for the third most in a single season in program history.
Bertrando, was named all-region in 2019, was just the fifth Gettysburg player to earn all-conference honors four times and she named to the NFHCA Senior Team last week. Bertrando finished her career with 76 points on 27 goals and 22 assists in 68 games. She finished second all-time in assists and tied for eighth in points at Gettysburg.
Gettysburg finished 8-8 overall and 4-6 in the Centennial Conference. The Bullets played six nationally-ranked teams and scored a 2-1 win over No. 14 Franklin & Marshall.
