FIRST PITCH: Today's Centennial Conference (CC) game marks the 225th all-time meeting between Gettysburg (13-18, 2-8 CC) and Dickinson (19-8, 7-3 CC) in a series that dates back to 1881. The Bullets lead the all-time series 136-86-2 but the Red Devils have won the last four.

LAST SEASON'S SERIES: In Carlisle on Tuesday, Gettysburg had nine hits but Dickinson held the Bullets off the board for a 7-0 win. Jack Pistner went 3-for-3 for Gettysburg. Austin Buzza threw 6 2/3 shutout innings with five K's and only one walk. In the return engagement three days later, Dickinson built a 13-1 lead en route to an 18-9 win for the season sweep. Liam Gregory tallied two singles in two plate appearances. He also had three RBIs and scored one run. LAST TIME OUT: McDaniel and Gettysburg were knotted at 6-all going into the ninth inning but the Green Terror plated four runs in the top of the inning and held the Bullets without a run in the bottom of the frame to complete the season sweep 10-6 on Sunday. Jack Pistner led the offense once again with a pair of two-run home runs. He was 2-for-4 on the day with four RBI and one walk. Connor Henderson pitched the final 2 2/3 innings, allowing no runs and striking out one to pick up the win on the mound for McDaniel. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

DOING YARD WORK: Jack Pistner hit a pair of two-run home runs on Sunday to give him seven long balls on the year, which is tied for the conference lead. Pistner has homered in three of the last four games and is the only non-Johns Hopkins player with more than five home runs in the conference. Pistner is hitting a team-best .381 on the year and has recorded multiple hits in eight of the last nine games and five in a row. Pistner is slugging .636 for the season but has just one double to go with his four triples and seven home runs.

LAST TIME OUT: Dickinson took advantage of a Muhlenberg fielding miscue and some strong relief pitching from Joey Sangiuolo to overcome a late rally from the Mules for an 11-8 win in 11 innings on Sunday. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

FINDING A GROOVE: Ryan Thompson enters today's game as one of four Centennial Conference hitters batting .400 or better on the year. He is hitting .432, rapping out 36 hits in 82 at bats. He is also third on the team with 29 runs scored and second with 29 RBIs. Among his base knocks, he has seven doubles, a triple and three home runs. He has also drawn 25 walks, which is tied for the team lead.
