Gettysburg locked up the fifth seed in the Centennial Conference tournament with a 5-1 victory over Washington (Md.).

Eden Levkov (Summit, N.J./Summit) helped clinch the victory with a win at fifth singles.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• The second doubles team of
Gillian Rozenfeld (Haddonfield, N.J./Haddonfield Memorial) and
Sarah Guistwite (Carlisle, Pa./Wilson Hill Academy) won 8-2 and the third team of
Ellie Brignati (Rockville Centre, N.Y./Sacred Heart Academy) and
Emma Ward (Falls Church, Va./Meridan) won by walkover to stake Gettysburg to a 2-1 lead after doubles play.
• Gettysburg needed just two singles victories to win the match. After Levkov won 8-2 at fifth singles, Brazyte clinched the victory with a 7-5, 6-1 win at first singles.
NEXT UP
Gettysburg is the fifth seed in the CC tournament and will travel to fourth-seeded Franklin & Marshall for the first round on Tuesday. Match time will be announecd on Monday.
