LANCASTER, Pa. – Mia Morreale (Short Hills, N.J./Millburn), a senior on the Gettysburg women's swim team, has been named Centennial Conference (CC) Women's Swimmer of the Week, for the week of Dec. 1-7.

It is the first time this season and second time in her career she has individually earned the honor.

Morreale led the Bullets to a first-place finish at their own Gettysburg Invitational over the weekend. She was part of four relay wins and added individual wins in the 500 free and 100 backstroke in addition to a second-place finish in the 100 free. She posted the No. 6 time in program history, winning the 500 free in a time of 5:04.40 to start the weekend. On Saturday, she won the 100 backstroke in a time of 56.56 seconds, which ranks second in program history, and was second in the 100 free (51.65). Morreale's 100 backstroke time ranks 25th in the nation while her 500 freestyle time is 34th.
